Single Origin is an all-day neighborhood cafe and restaurant with multiple branches in Manila. Its titular name refers to its specialty coffee beans harvested in a single country or region. This coffee shop is delightfully rustic, with its wooden tables and chairs, and a variety of plants to balance the whole look.

Maginhawa food street is Daily Habit, a 30-seater café that calls out to you from afar thanks to its bright lights and clean aesthetic. Sporting a design that is best described as industrial minimalist, this no-frills establishment
is slowly becoming one of my favorite spots in the area.

This local café found in Quezon City is not just a simple café that offers a good cup of coffee, but also offers a story—a story that needs to be heard. Silingan Coffee, which opened last year, is a coffee shop staffed primarily with the mothers and wives, sisters, and daughters of the unfortunate victims of EJKs or extra-judicial killings during the Duterte administration’s war on drugs
